Title of Research Study: Health and Love (HAL)

Principal Investigator: Margaret Rosario, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology

Thank you for your interest in learning a bit more about our study, Health and Love (HAL). The purpose of HAL is to understand how our relationships with parents and loved ones affect our health. Before you get to HAL, you are first being asked to participate in this screener in order to see if you qualify for HAL.

If you agree to participate in the screener, you will fill out a few brief and basic questions that should take about 5 minutes and ask about your age, sex, and similar issues. We do not anticipate any risk associated with these questions. Your answers will be sent to a secure and encrypted data center to determine your eligibility. Depending on your answers, you may be eligible to participate in HAL. Your participation in this screener is voluntary and the screening data are collected anonymously. If you are selected to participate in the full survey, it should take 30-45 minutes to complete it.

If you have any questions, you can contact Dr. Margaret Rosario at 212-650-5420. If you have any questions about your rights as a research participant or if you would like to talk to someone other than the researchers, you can contact CUNY Research Compliance Administrator at 646-664-8918.

Click "Continue" to go to the screener, if you want to continue.
